After reading other books on unassisted childbirth (Laura Shanley and Lynn Griesemer) the thing that stands out the most for this book is that it is written without any fluff. The book mentions briefly why you may choose an unassisted childbirth, but the presumption is that you already know that's what you want. For anyone who needs practical advice I would recommend this book. The only thing this book is missing are some birth stories, but they can be found easily on the web.Product details

The book assumes that's what you want and tells you how to do it. I like the section on overcoming objections. The author helps, because she writes that it is perfectly normal to be afraid and the way to cope is to find a solution.
